ALERT: we have been getting calls from angry people looking for “SYLKSKIN”. They are in NO WAY connected with our company.
This is what we do know:
When you purchase from them, whether you know it or not, you may have signed up for a continuity program. That means they continue to ship product and charge to your credit card monthly. Many of the people we have talked to say they never authorized repeated use of their credit card. Supposedly you can cancel at anytime, but clearly some are having trouble doing just that. To date there are 290 complaints logged with scambook.com against SYLKSKIN.
SilkSkin Inc. has been a business in good standing for 27 years. We have an excellent and well earned reputation for both product quality and customer service. We don’t sign anybody up for automatic shipments unless they specifically call to request it of us! And we are indignant that the sellers of SYLKSKIN are besmirching our good name. We are pursuing legal action for trademark infringement. They have been, predictably, hard to track down.
Meanwhile, if any of you have encountered this other entity doing business as “SYLKSKIN”, we would like to hear from you.
